Switzerland

I really surprise myself with saying this but a couple of years ago I did a small Lakes and Mountains trip to Switzerland and I feel in love with it.  The resort of Wengen that enforces a no car policy is absolutely beautiful – with its timber chalets and belle epoque hotels it has a certain quaintness to it that I have yet to find anywhere else.  Whilst here I went on the Jungfraubahn railway up to the Jungfrau summit – something I would never normally chose to do and it was absolutely breathtaking, I really did feel I was on top of the world!!
