I have been very lucky to travel to Jamaica many times, I love how there is so much to see and do. It has beautiful beaches and is blanketed in rainforests, Coffee plantations and waterfalls. I have stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Zilva a great hotel for families or you can stay at the Hyatt Zilara Adult only side, I have also stayed at Beaches Negril and Beaches Ochi.
Jamaica is a great place to explore. It has many beautiful , absolutely stunning Negril Beach is 7 miles long with crystal clear waters and white powdery sand it definitely my favorite. Another beautiful beach is Frenchman's cove where many famous movies have been filmed.
Boston Bay is another beach mainly for the traditional Jamaican food. You will truly love Jerk chicken and Rice and Peas and you can also enjoy a little rum tipple.
You will find that many beaches in Jamaica are private that means they are resort beaches for guests or government run beaches that require a small local charges,
You have many different excursions and beautiful spots to visit. You can go Rafting the Martha Brae and glide down a picturesque stretch of the river on bamboo rafts pooled by local guides. Jamaica's most famous natural attractions are Dunns River Falls; you can climb the natural tiers to the top of the falls and cool off in the refreshing pools at the base.
It is a good idea to wear water shoes and clothing if you don't mind getting wet.
You can also visit high in the rainforest just outside Ocho Rios the Blue Hole a picturesque waterhole fed by gushing cascades where you can explore the falls and jump of cliffs.
You also have Blue Mountains, The Bob Marley museum, Sky Explorer and so much more.
