Barbados is the island where you arrive on the tarmac at Grantley Adams Airport smiling and the smile doesn’t leave you until it’s time to go home.

The Beaches on the West Coast with its calm Caribbean Sea to the East with the wilder Atlantic Sea, such a contrast but all so beautiful. The warm hospitality of the local people, the food from 5* fine dining cuisine at Sandy Lane or the Cliff to Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry with the locals, you don’t want to miss it.

Look out for the famous Green Monkeys, you might hear them in the tree’s or like me, suddenly find yourself surrounded by a family of them whilst sipping a cocktail on the sun lounger...... anything is possible.

Hire a car or hire a personal driver and explore the island, take a drink in a rum shack, swim with the turtles (a highlight for my family every time) it all makes for the perfect holiday destination for couples, friends or families alike. I have been fortunate to holiday here many times and never tire of it, it’s easy, relaxed and perfect in my opinion.
